DECLARATIONS OF COMPLIANCES
At YUMMII YUMMII, we care about the environment. It is important to us that quality is paramount, which is why we are constantly testing and certifying our products so that we can guarantee to you as a consumer that our products meet the applicable standards set by the food authorities in the EU, LFGB (Germany) and the USA. (FDA). The certifications have been carried out and approved by SGS and UL, who are among the world's leading certification companies. Required by the Danish Food Authority in Denmark, all food contact materials must have a declaration of conformity which summarizes the company's inspection work and ensures that the materials comply with the set rules.

Our products come in reusable packaging in the form of mesh- and canvas bags. These bags are GOTS certified, which guarantees you as a consumer that these are made environmentally and socially responsible throughout the supply chain.Â
CLIMATE FRIENDLY SOLUTIONS
At YUMMII YUMMII, we want to inspire you how to easily pack food and drinks sustainably. We work with durable and degradable materials, as a substitute for too many years of overuse of plastic and disposable packaging, which is a major challenge for the environment and unfortunately often ends up in the world seas. We caused The plastic age  - a scary reality that together we will have to put an end to by using responsible materials for the future.

WHY STEEL?
Most of our products are made of stainless steel 18/8. This type of steel has a long life, is extremely durable and is 100% Â re-cyclable. Stainless steel is chemical free, free of phthalates and BPA toxins. In addition, neither steel gives nor absorbs color or taste - you can safely use, for example, our Bento boxes for a curry dish without it coloring your box.
BENEFITS OF STEEL
Steel is by nature a material that absorbs cold, stores it and takes a long time to break down the cold. This ability is very useful in i.a. our Bento boxes, with which the steel acts as a natural cooling element, which keeps your food fresh and cool on the go.
Steel is also an ingenious material for storing leftovers, vegetables etc. in the refrigerator, as it cools far more intensely than plastic. You will  experience that your food stays fresh for a longer period of time.
The ability of steel to absorb temperatures is also a quality that benefits our thermos bottles and lunch boxes. These consist of two layers of steel with air space in between, which allows them to keep food and drinks hot or cold for hours. In this way, we want to inspire less food waste, as you can easily bring hot or cold leftovers on the go.Â


BAMBUS - A "FOREVER" RESOURCE
Bamboo is an eternal resource and an extremely durable grass that grows at an incredible rate. Bamboo can grow up to one meter a day, and is the fastest growing plant on earth. The rapid growth means that the bamboo, with the right production and treatment, absorbs more CO2 than is released throughout the entire supply chain from production to the finished product.
That in itself makes bamboo far more sustainable than wood. Bamboo has an extremely durable surface, which ensures products a long life. In addition, bamboo does not need fertilizer or pesticide to grow big and strong. The arguments for using bamboo instead of wood are thus many when it comes to manufacturing products with consideration for our surroundings.

PLASTIC VS. SILICONE
PP-Plastic is a frequently used material when looking at solutions for storing liquid foods and drinks. Plastic holds completely tight, so you can easily carry liquid food and drinks on the go without fear of it leaking into your bag.
An alternative to plastic is silicone, which has a long life and is an extremely durable material.
Silicone is made of silica, which originates naturally from sand, and is extremely temperature resistant and withstands extreme temperatures without being adversely affected - cold or hot. These properties make silicone a more environmentally friendly substance than plastic.
