We have designed a new thermos bottle collection and developed a campaign for children in Africa together with FANT, the Danish national handball players Mathias Gidsel, Mette Tranborg and Josefine Jørgensen, as well as the national soccer player Sanne Troelsgaard and the former national soccer player Martin Jørgensen.
The campaign is called one for one, meaning when a customer buy a bottle from YUMMII YUMMII, we jointly donate a bottle to a child in Sierra Leone in Africa who plays soccer or handball in a club operated by FANT.

It is very hot in Sierra Leone and there is a great need for bottles that keep the water cold and replace the many plastic bottles that would otherwise be used daily to fetch water for sports.

THE USE OF SPORTs TO CHANGE LIVES FOR KIDS IN AFRICA

To ensure that all bottles go directly to children in Sierra Leone, we have teamed up with the NGO organization FANT (Football for a better Tomorrow). FANT works to improve the living conditions of children in Africa through sport.

"The whole world loves sports. In countries all over the globe, sports are helping to shape communities. It connects people. It creates a common language that everyone can speak.

Sport is passion, love, competition - but at the same time also a powerful tool for confronting society's challenges. That is why we at FANT believe that sport can change the world. That it can develop people and society.

We use people's motivation and love for the sport to create positive change at different levels of society in developing countries ".

SPORTS FOR UNITY

handball

FANT has set up and operates 6 women's handball clubs in Sierra Leone. In each of these clubs, more than 50 girls meet weekly for handball training, and here they experience a free space and a healthy community and they experience a free space and a healthy community here. The handball clubs are democratically structured and introduce girls to handball, among other things. by holding an annual handball competition and tournaments across the 6 clubs.

COLD WATER

In Sierra Leone the temperatures are very high and the children have a hard time keeping their water cold. The project is to donate thermoses to the children, who can then fetch cold water in tanks set up by FANT.

FOOTBALL

In the project "Football for Unity", FANT organizes children and young people in healthy communities through sports associations and educates for democratic participation. Specifically, FANT ensures the opportunity for 10,000 children and young people in Sierra Leone to play sports through the establishment and maintenance of sports associations. In the associations, FANT develops role models that inspire and support the children in everyday life.
