Bento medium - A popular lunch box in metal
Bento Medium is one of our best-selling models, and in its simplicity it is a good example of what we are inspired by in the design of our lunch boxes. Scandinavian minimalism in natural colours, which makes your food look deliciously healthy and inviting. Bento Medium is available as a lunch box with one compartment, perfect for a tall sandwich or a salad, with two or three compartments, which allows you to divide your food easily and safely without using disposable packaging. Advantages of a steel lunch box
There are a number of advantages to using steel for food packaging.
For example, if you store your food box in the fridge before use, the steel absorbs cold, and this means that your food can stay cold and delicious right up until it is ready to be enjoyed. Steel provides a chemical-free storage of food and is environmentally friendly in the sense that a steel food box has a very long life and can be used again and again to create "zero" waste. Another advantage is that steel does not absorb either color or smell, and at the same time it is easy to clean.
If you use a food box with compartments, you are free to use disposable packaging to wrap your food. Our food boxes with compartments are molded and have dividers which are welded in place. This means that you can safely pack your food separately without having to worry about whether the food is still separated when you have to enjoy your packed lunch. The story behind the lunchbox with compartmentalization
In our search for suitable products for wrapping our own food, we were inspired by the Japanese way of thinking about packed lunches. The "Bento system" consists of boxes with small compartments or sets of separate boxes in which to store food without the use of disposable packaging. We think this is a perfect way to re-think the packaging of our lunch boxes and at the same time minimize our family's consumption of plastic.

Food box for liquid foods
You should be aware that our Bento Boxes are not leak-proof, so it is recommended that you do not use them for liquid foods such as yoghurt etc. Here we would instead recommend our Bento Rounds for delicious food storage.
